Waiting a good wait.

So you’ve all heard the saying, “fight the good fight”- right?!  Well…We here at the Mathews house are resolved to wait a good wait.

“Waiting is one of God’s most powerful tools of grace. God doesn’t just give us grace for the wait. The wait itself is a gift of grace. You see, waiting is not only about what you will receive at the end of the wait. Waiting is about what you will become as you wait.” -Paul David Tripp

The waiting is the most difficult. Stay positive!

Btw, and this is not adoption related but I wanted to tell you and Tyler, I took a picture from the video of Tyler doing hair and had my stylist cut my hair like one of his clients. 🙂 If I lived near you all, he'd so be cutting my hair!

Yes, I too try to remain mindful of this. Sometimes I falter, but I just take a step back and remind myself.

I'm glad you enjoyed that quote! I think it is so perfect for this journey we are all on. I have to admit though that I stole it from another blog I stalk 🙂

Thanks for stopping by our blog. We are wanting to adopt a toddler girl some day but are working on raising money right now! That's really neat. Were in the Houston area. Have a Merry Christmas.
